Why You Need to Know Your Rights, Attend Fair Housing Seminar
The free event is open to the public and includes a light dinner. As part of Fair Housing month in April, the City of Tampa and the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors (GTAR) is hosting a seminar Fair Housing: It’s the Law, Know Your Rights. The seminar will be held Thursday, April 17, 2008, at the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors located at 2918 W. Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and the program is from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The seminar is a great opportunity for individuals and families to learn from experts who can answer their questions about housing discrimination, rental rights and homeownership. Topics to be covered include: foreclosure, disability laws, and the rights and responsibilities of homeowners and renters.
This program is sponsored by the City of Tampa’s Community Affairs Division and the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors.
