Gary Schaaf is an experienced commercial litigator and shareholder in his firm’s Largo office. His wife, Jo Schaaf, is the business partner of Marc Vitorillo. We are pleased to have him contribute to “Luxury Tampa Bay”. Mr. Schaaf is rated “AV” by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory – its highest professional rating – based upon the endorsement of his colleagues in the areas of professional conduct, ethics and ability.

Mr. Schaaf has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation including real property disputes, contract litigation, probate and trust litigation, land use litigation, mortgage foreclosure litigation, injunction actions, personal injury litigation, professional malpractice and negligence claims, bankruptcy, franchisor/franchisee litigation, and banking litigation and regulatory matters, as well as contract and lease drafting, and general corporate and business representation.

He has significant trial experience in the state and federal courts as well as appellate practice experience before Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. His clients have included national, state and local financial institutions, multi-national corporations, governments, businesses, health care professionals and individuals.

Mr. Schaaf also has extensive experience as a Certified Circuit and Federal Court Mediator and training in arbitration by the Florida Bar.
